Finally have it finished. Mugen air intake, Cusco 1.5 lsd, Ohlins road and track suspension, Toda oil pump, Mugen assist gauges and Michelin pilot sport 3's for the road. New red carpet as well but still looking for the red floor mats. Also put a new oem block as well which greatly increased the torque. Car is a blast to drive. Looking forward to a track day next month. I will switch the wheels to ssr rims with bridgestone semi slicks for the track. Any gatherings of fd owners in Bangkok?

Vtec store will be finished with the car monday. Everything restored to original fd2 parts. All systems checked and redone if necessary. Learned alot about the true type r fd2. Seems that most here in Thailand are converted civics. Glad to have found this original in decent shape. Vtec store has been great. Might be exspensive but I feel confident in their knowledge of this particular car.

Where did you get the hondata ecu? Jo

Been driving the car for a couple of weeks now. This is a great car! Handling, acceleration, and the soud is just perfect. Going to put in a Mugen cold air intake and get the esu reflashed. Other than that the car has been great. Any advice on the best fuel. Been using Esso 95 yellow or shell v-power. Don't know if gasohol fits with this however. Also, looking for a track to take it to. Anyone know of one near Bangkok? Joe

Just picking up the car tomorrow and want to have it checked out before I drive it like it's supposed to be driven. I will try them for this since it is very close to work but for future work maybe I can try your guy.

Next week will get my first civic. It's a 2007 type r fd2. All original in championship white. The test drive has me dying for more. Looking forward to meeting up with some other type r owners. Joe

Just bought a type r FD2 here in Bangkok. Anyone speak english who can talk about the car. Thinking of swapping Konis in the rear to help deal with the roads in Bangkok. Anyone know where I can have this done? Joe
