tonsena Posted February 13, 2014 Report Share Posted February 13, 2014 น่าสนใจมาำก rx350 custom curve shield I finally got a hold of the RX350 BX projector, with special thanks to forum member 'paleryeder'. Upon examining the projector, the reflector bowl has the same quality as the rx330, but the front-half lens holder is very Bosch-like, with 4 mounting legs and uses a metal ring to hold the lens in place. It has a flat flippable shield that is not completely straight from side to side. The middle of the shield is higher than the sides, which blocks the reserved highbeam. I have some reservation on this projector already.So I took it out for a comparison test with the the TL bixenon. The RX350 is equipped with an STi-R lens and the TL is equipped with a ZKW-R lens. No lens spacer were used.Again, keeping the same environment settings with my other posts. Car is parked about 45ft from wall. Projectors used 35w D2S 85122+ (no Hg) bulb and 35w Matsushita G3 ballast. Nikon D60 camera manual setting with ISO800, Aperture 1/4', and F6.3. All pictures were taken on the same night (04-15-2011) on a clear sky with a full moon behind building.RX350-BX vs. TL-BX (Distant Shot)Here's an animated GIF:Both have about the same width, but the RX350 has better side intensity.RX350-BX vs. TL-BX (Closeup Shot)Center-wise, the RX350-BX lowbeam is not as intense as the TL-BX. Like other Koito projectors (sk2, sc430, and rx330), the rx350 has similar pattern with high concentration of light in the center and just below the cutoff along the sides:In the pic above, the blue dotted line represents the oem cutoff showing the dip in the center with lots of reserved for the highbeam.
